Mobile Care and Safety was founded in 2009. The closure of Nokia’s Jyväskylä office was the impetus for an innovative company whose business was founded on high quality solutions based on users’ needs.

The company’s team is made up of five of us who cut our teeth at Nokia and have a wealth of expertise and 90 years of experience between us as operators and experts in designing, selling and marketing mobile technology. We also include medical and software industry experts to bring new perspectives and develop even better solutions.

It really is possible to do things differently

It was our shared values and a desire to create new solutions to make the everyday lives of our friends and families easier and safer that led us to set up the business. We heard one story where en elderly person’s safety alarm was switched over to a local taxi service during the night. At Mobile Care and Safety Oy we thought there had to be a better solution than that. Initially we started designing solutions to support the lives of elderly people living at home and the people who care for them. But as is so often the way with great ideas, this soon expanded to cover other groups of users.

Who do you want to help?

Our business revolves around a desire to look after our nearest and dearest. Caring and looking after people mustn’t depend on expensive solutions or the lack of a suitable solution. The way the responder network works is just as important as the technological product. We develop our solutions in close cooperation with our customers so they really do meet genuine everyday needs.

These days it’s all about mobile solutions

Besides functionality and quality, the products have to be the kind of thing that people will be proud to use. A solution obtained to keep a family member safe won’t help anyone if they don’t want to use it because it is labelled or impractical to use. These days mobile phones are quite complex devices. Unfortunately a lot of people just don’t know how to use all the features they have to offer. We put these features together in a practical solution which anyone can use.

In the future we will be expanding the company’s operations and solutions in partnership with our partners to create new, mobile solutions that supplement each other.

We are developing new service concepts

Mobile Care and Safety Oy develops and sells solutions which help our clients to develop their own service concepts and businesses and to provide a better service to their own customers.

Our solutions are based on innovative use of mobile technology for personal safety.

• build new service and business concepts in a range of sectors
• promote the development and improve the efficiency of local government and private sector services for the care of the elderly
